In the summer of 2016 I received a vision with this colour pallet with a 1955 Thunderbird turning on to a street. Immediately I began mixing the colours for this piece according to the colours I recieved from the vision. At the same time I was asked to do live painting on the side walk. I knew this piece would need more time to create, so I looked up a picture of '1955 streets' to work off of for a fast paced live painting. I was excited to use the colours I had just mixed, so with the same colours in hand, I ended up creating the "Against the Tide" piece.

Kyle Jaden Loved this piece and bought it, and got me to do another painting with the same colour pallet.
